The Mandalay Bay Shark Reef is one of the best aquariums in town with a good variety of sharks, sea turtles, stonefish, stingrays and many other fish species in a large 1.3 million gallon tank. Visitors listen to an audio tour as they admire the surprises within this lovely and serene setting.

Once inside the underwater glass hallways, you get the impression that you are in a sunken temple as graceful sharks and other aquatic creatures slowly glide by. There are in addition to the Shark Reef Aquarium separate snake and crocodile exhibits.

Admission to the Shark Reef Aquarium is $16 for adults and $9.95 for children ages 5-12 and free for children under 5. The Shark Reef is open daily from 10 a.m to 11 p.m. For more info call(702)632-7000

The stores offer a diverse assortment of selections to choose from including a Las Vegas bookstore, chocolate shop, wine store and retail shaving emporium. When you’ve seen everything at Mandalay Place you can use the pedestrian connector to go to the Luxor hotel.
