Is Celine Dion Urging Britney Spears to Come to Las Vegas?

Celine Dion is urging Britney Spears to follow her lead and come to Las Vegas to perform according to Britain’s Daily Star. She is quoted as saying, “If Britney and Kylie want to come to Vegas and do a residency like me, I say go for it. Vegas is changing. There is room for everyone – new singers and older ones.”

The pop diva has achieved widespread acclaim and success with her latest Celine Dion in Las Vegas show. Dion recently said, “When I first came here (Las Vegas) in 2003, people said my career was over. I’m here because I love singing, and this allows me to be with my family.”

In addition to Britney Spears, Celine has also talked with Kylie Minogue about relocating for a time in Sin City. Both Spears and Minogue are said to be in talks regarding starting their own foray into Vegas entertainment. Minogue who’s on tour recently said this about the question, “I’ve got my Las Vegas show right here. We’ve been talking about it so if I do a residency I definitely have the show for it.”

Celine’s last Vegas stint saw her perform close to 600 shows over a 4 year span and grossed over 400 million dollars. Celine Dion has re-started her own show simply called Celine which is slated to stretch over 3 years for a total of 210 performances. Her show is performed at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Absinthe the Las Vegas show is all about surprises. Much like the intoxicating liquor of the same name, Absinthe is alluring, sensual, and will have you not knowing what to expect next. You can find the Absinthe show at found outside Caesars Palace on the Spiegelworld campus. The theater is located on the corner of Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Boulevard. Inside the Spiegeltent you’ll discover intimate velvet booths along with free standing seats. The theater for Absinthe offers intimate seating arrangement with only a 600 person capacity.

The theater itself is designed with beautiful stained glass decorative windows, glimmering mirrors, and plenty of velvet. In all the scenery creates an environment of mystery and adventure which helps add to the feeling that anything can happen. Similar to early 20th century Europe Spiegelworld has been called a carnival for grown-ups. Exotic Cars is located at Caesars Palace within the Forum Shops. Here you can get up close to your favorite dream car, many with a price tag of over a million dollars. On display are over 40 high end luxury cars.

All of your favorites are most likely here like the Ferrari 360 Modena Spider, Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster and the Porsche Indy Car. The collection is constantly changing to keep the display fresh, so you never know what’s in store for you here at the Exotic Cars Showroom.

The Exotic Cars Showroom is two stories and 34,000 square feet in size. Specifics on each luxury automobile are available from interactive touch screens set up at each display. Visitors can also purchase exotic car merchandise including, t-shirts, keychains, hats and polo shirts. You can also have your picture taken with you behind the wheel of an exotic car for $20.

Of all those marble looking statues littered around Caesars Palace Forum Shops, did you know there are actually some that come to life thanks to the miracle of animatronics. Its true, every hour on the hour two statue shows come to life. They are called the Fall of Atlantis and the Festival Fountain shows.

The Fall of Atlantis Show takes place over a large aquarium complete with tropical fish and uses fire and shooting water to compliment the special effects of this free show. The Festival Fountain show is a little more docile and features lasers beamed on to a domed ceiling. The great thing about these shows is they are free.

Kids especially will like the large 50,000 gallon aquarium that is behind the Fall of Atlantis Fountain that contains more than 100 species of ocean critters.
