They recently purchased the 23 million dollar loan on his Neverland Ranch in California and are now discussing with Jackson a variety of repayment options for his $23 million in debt.

One of the best possible scenarios for the aging pop star is to perform in long-term engagement as the resident performer of a Las Vegas show. The source stated that there’s currently no deal solidly in place.

However it was first reported in the Wall Street Journal, which quoted Tom Barrack the CEO of Colony Capital CEO as saying, “we’ve been having discussions with Mr. Jackson about a recapitalization and refinancing of Neverland in addition to various other business opportunities and mutual interests.”

Michael Jackson is currently 49 years old and has been reclusive since a California jury acquitted him in 2005 of child molestation. Since then Jackson has moved from places like Bahrain, Dubai and even Ireland. Michael’s been reported to be currently residing with his three young children in Pahrump, Nevada, located about 60 miles from Las Vegas, Nevada.

Colony Capital has said to be pressuring Michael to sell off Neverland Ranch to relaunch is music career and begin repayment of his millions of dollars in debt. According to the Las Vegas Journal an idea being discussed is to install Michael Jackson as a regular performer at one of their hotel casinos. This would mean Jackson would perform approximately 180 nights a year.

Another plan being discussed is to have Jackson appearing 20 or 30 times a year with part of the original Jackson brothers.
