[Books] For all you 14-year-old Latinas out there reading: Bestselling author Julia Alvarez is coming to town to sign copies of her new book, Once Upon A Quinceanera. You know the one — the one you’ve been reading in squealing anticipation of your own big day. But one thing you don’t know is that you may want to keep it away from your madre y padre unless you want them to find out how much quinceaneras tend to cost. Just look cute, tell them how much you love them, and start shopping for dresses now via the Internet.
