Has Bush been too successful at fighting terrorism?

That’s what a new CNN poll seems to suggest: Terrorism fears are fading.

But Bush’s success can have a bad side. It could possibly make Americans feel too safe and vote for someone who has been labeled an appeaser, someone willing to talk (with out conditions) to those who would kill us.
