Since 1990 the Comedy Stop has featured the best stand-up comics and rising stars in an intimate nightclub setting reminiscent of the classic Las Vegas lounge era.
It’s been awarded a top honoree for Funniest Comedy Room from “What’s On” magazine and is the perfect spot to enjoy an evening of comedy entertainment.
To reach the Comedy Stop visit the Tropicana hotel and take the elevator located between the casino and the shopping area up one floor. The showroom features banquet seating for 400 with a cocktail included with the price of admission. The classic, old Las Vegas-style showroom is open noon to midnight, every day, year-round, with two shows nightly.

America’s hottest comedians take center stage in this intimate comedy club reminiscent of a Manhattan nightclub, complete with neon-studded walls and canopy entrance. In addition to headliner comedians, the Riviera Comedy Club features specialty performers such as ventriloquists, hypnotists, “shock” comedians and more. Shows are presented in the Mardi Gras Entertainment Complex. Capacity of the showroom is 350.

Second City Comedy

The Second City opened at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas in 2001. It’s available six night a week and features a team of improvisational sketch comedians.
Originally started in Chicago in 1959 the Second City grew into the show that inspired Saturday Night Live and turned improvisation into a true comedic art.
The Flamingo theater offers an intimate setting for comedy shows. Additionally they provide a training center offering classes in the creation of sketch comedy, improvisation, and comedic writing.
